Users have the right to permanently delete their HostelsIndia.in account and all associated data. You can request account deletion in two ways:

• Through the App:
  • Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account within the HostelsIndia app.
  • Confirm the deletion request.
  • All personal data will be erased from our servers within 7 business days.
• Through Our Website:
  • Email support@hostelsindia.in with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include your registered email or phone number.

Once deleted, all personal data, hostel preferences, and listings will be permanently removed. We may retain minimal information only if required for legal, taxation, or compliance purposes.

This policy update ensures compliance with Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) and relevant Indian data protection standards.

8. Children’s Privacy

• Our services are not directed to children under 13.
• Minors must use our platform only under guardian supervision.
